Known to us all as "Uncle Bill", you were always a kind and loving man, who always had a smile on his face and a positive thing to say. Discussions with you were always interesting, since your intelligence always delivered insights that were unique and thought-provoking. Your hospitality to us was unwavering, and we have so many cherished memories of our family visits together - you, DIane and Eva were always the beloved cousins of my parents Miljenko and Frieda, and now to the next generations.....we will miss you. We know you're in heaven now.

Bill was a dear friend to my father Nicholas V., all the way from the 1930's to 2017. Their shared childhood in midtown Manhattan in the 30's and 40's was a source of stories about their colorful (if sometimes rough and tumble!) experiences..He was also my Dad's "best man" at his wedding in 1950.. (And those wedding photos are engraved in all of our memories). More recently, I moved from Mass. and lived in NJ from 2015-2017 while I was doing eldercare for my dad Nick in his final two years. Bill was kind and considerate enough to call about my Dad's well-being several times, and even went to visit him in the Emerson Healthcare Center with his nephew Woody. He also attended his funeral Mass at St. Luke's Church in HoHoKus on Nov. 22, 2017. (It was fortunate that one of his nieces was with him that day). That act showed that all the way into his 90's Bill would take care to go the extra mile for a friend! It was always a pleasure to converse with Bill on the phone. And I called him my "birthday buddy" because our birthdays are just one day apart in Feb.Bill was intelligent as well as warm, kind, and cheerful and he was a friend who will be truly missed. May he always rest peacefully and may his positive legacy live on for all of the family members and friends who knew him..

Bill- you were a dear & cherished family member. A lot of good memories from my childhood and always remember the love shared between you, your lovely wife Diane, and your sister-in-law Eva. I know my parents, Miljenko & Frieda Bondulich, always had a special place in their hearts for you. I know you're with them in Heaven now.
