Obituary of Anna Reo

Reo, Anna, age 92 of Fort Lee entered into eternal rest on June 14, 2018. She was born in NYC in 1925 to the late William and Simonella reo, who had a family butcher shop in the Little Italy neighborhood. The family then moved to Hoboken, NJ and enjoyed many happy years there. Anna worked as a seamstress in the garment industry before moving on to help establish C.J. Romano Jewelers on 47th. St. in NYC.


Anna’s fierce independence and caring, loving nature were an example to everyone who knew her. She was especially close to all her brothers and sisters as well as all her nieces and nephews, and will live forever in their hearts.


Anna was predeceased by her loving sisters, Mary Romano, Theresa Gallo, Carmella Polizzano, Louise Gaglio, and brothers Genaro Reo, and John Reo.
Surviving nieces and nephews are, Carol and Ernest Boele of Bayville, NJ, Frank and Grace Romano of Leonia, NJ, Anthony and Nancy Gaglio of Boonton Township, NJ, Charles and Liza Gaglio of Parsippany, NJ, Nancy and Ron Stanton of Branchburg, NJ, Annette Kopf and Richard Denicola of Hamburg, NJ and Simone and Mike Giaquinto of Phoenix, AZ.
