Obituary of Lillian Guasti

Guasti, Lillian nee: Salussolia, age 92, formerly of Cliffside Park, NJ., on October 16, 2018. She was the cherished daughter of the late Stefano and Teresa Salussolia and grew up in the Hell’s Kitchen section of Manhattan, NY.  Beloved wife of 61 years to Peter Guasti who predeceased her in 2010.  Loving mother of the late Elise Radick and her husband Douglas, Sandra Bonardi and her husband Joseph and Loretta Finn and her husband Peter. Beloved grandmother of Lea Radick who resides in Chicago, Illinois. Lillian was a talented artist who enjoyed reading, watching old movies and listening to Broadway show tunes and classical music.  She will always be remembered for her wonderful Christmas cookies and her love of nature and animals, particularly her beautiful cat Mr. Chips.  She also enjoyed spending weekends with family and friends at her country home in Westtown, NY.  The family will receive their friends on Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library.”  The funeral will leave Friday at 9:30 AM for the celebration of her funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church in Leonia, NJ at 10:00 AM.  Graveside Service will be held on Saturday in Unionville Cemetery, Unionville, NY at 11:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to FOCAS Adoptions, P.O.
