Obituary of Dr. Emanuel J. Lampidis
Lampidis, Dr. Emanuel J., of Lyons, on January 8, 2019. Born on 8/26/40, in Brooklyn New York. He went to Wingate High School and then Brooklyn College where he majored in Chemistry and won the award coming in first in his class. He then got his medical degree at New York University. He did his Internship Program in Internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center, A Residency program in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Columbia University. He also served as a Medical Officer in the United States Public Health Service stationed in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania during the Vietnam Era. Manny served as a role model to his family with his work ethic and academic achievements. He is survived by his son James F. Lampidis, (Jennifer), former wife, Francine Lampidis, his brothers Dr. John Lampidis, Dr. Ted Lampidis, (FEI), his sister, Effie Michalos (Peter). His nephew Julien, nieces, Jennie, Alexis, and Kimi.
