Obituary of Europa C. Santoro

Europa C. Santoro, age 89, of Fort Lee, formerly of Edison, N.J. passed peacefully on Saturday March 28, 2020. Born in New York she was an Administrator for Riegel Textile Corporation of New York City. She was very social and loved people. She played poker and mahjong with different groups of friends within her community and had some very “strong” opinions regarding politics. Mention a certain name, and her blood pressure would rise 10 points! Everyone loved her warmth and spirit. Devoted mother of Olivia Wilson and her husband Ron. She remarried after being single for many years to a wonderful man, Jim Santoro. Europa had two sisters and a brother – Alice, Julia and Billy as well as sister-in-law Angie Gagliardi. She was a devoted aunt to Celeste and Timmy who lived with her for a few years and has many other loving family members who will miss her. Committal services will be private.
