I met Tom through my mother in law. He was an amazing, supportive, and dear friend of hers. I got to know him a bit after my mother in law had an accident last summer. He was at the hospital every day and continued to be there for her when she came home. He was a fun, caring, endearing, and a lovely person. A toast to you Tom! May you rest in peace and keep dancing!

My dearest friend & partner in crime Tom, it has been a wonderful ride being with you through thick & thin all these years. I wasn't expecting you to depart so soon but I guess you had other plans as you always used to say be ahead of any trouble. You left a big whole in my heart & you will always be my elegant Bertie with a glass of Champagne ready to play. Dear Tom, I miss you already so much and cannot believe you have left this earth so soon—too soon. You have always been such an important person in my life since we first became friends in 2008. Your warmth, your thoughtfulness, your humor, and your craziness always made me so happy and feeling so lucky to have you in my life. NYC will never be the same for me—and all who knew you—without you there. I will always remember the many fun dinners, dancing, art shows, and shopping we shared. You were a true gentleman and such a good soul to so many. You were just the best!! My only consolation is knowing that you are not in pain anymore and you are in Heaven with your dear brother and Bob. I loved you dearly and will miss you forever. Barbara
