Obituary of Kenneth Lenoci

Kenneth Lenoci, age 91, of Englewood Cliffs, NJ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 12, 2020. Ken was originally from Jersey City, NJ and worked for many years as a salesman in multiple industries. Ken was a devout Catholic and a long-time parishioner of Holy Trinity Church in Fort Lee, NJ, where he served as a lector for many years. He was an honorable man of many talents and was a gifted artist and singer with a penchant for all things Sinatra. A true family man, Ken loved spending summers at the Jersey shore with his children and grandchildren, all of whom adored his larger than life personality. No matter how disappointing the season, Ken was committed to rooting for his beloved sports teams, the Mets and the Jets, and was known to proudly flaunt his sports memorabilia that was often gifted to him by his grandchildren on birthdays and holidays. The only thing Ken loved more than a Sunday dinner at home with his family was his sweetheart and bride of 61 years, Rosemarie Lenoci, who he was fortuitously introduced to by her older brother, Michael. Rosemarie was the youngest of many children and Ken was warmly embraced by her loving siblings and parents. Throughout his lifetime, Ken made friends easily and was known to help anyone who was down on their luck or just needed a friend. His compassion and kindness has been felt by so many within and outside of his immediate family. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Ken is the beloved son of the late Domenick and Elizabeth Lenoci of Jersey City, NJ and brother of the late Nicholas Lenoci. Ken is survived by his sister, Annette Crocono and her husband, Richard. He is also survived by his wife Rosemarie and their four children, Kenneth Lenoci and wife, Sharon Lenoci, Monique Kilmartin and husband, Ronald Kilmartin, Jr., Reverend Dominick Lenoci and Maria Lenoci, and his five grandchildren, who affectionately knew him as "Pop", Brielle Cusano and her husband, Dr. Antonio Cusano, Dominique Kilmartin, Kenneth Lenoci, Jillianna Lenoci and Cristina Lenoci. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the viewing and funeral mass will be private. Plans for a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
