Obituary of Gloria J. Meyers

Meyers, Gloria J. (nee Viola), a lifelong resident of Fort Lee, NJ passed away on January 7th. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Meyers, devoted mother of Tom Meyers and Ann Marie Meyers Piccirillo, and her husband James Piccirillo. Devoted grandmother to Katie and Jack Piccirillo. Gloria was one of ten children of Carrie and Joe Viola. She is survived by her brothers James Viola, Willie Viola and Frankie Viola and she is predeceased by Florence Burrows, Anna Barbarulo, Caroline Mueller, Joe Viola, Charlie Viola and John Viola. She was a loving Aunt to over 40 nieces and nephews. Upon graduation from Fort Lee High School she was employed at Consolidated Republic Films in Fort Lee. She worked as a secretary at Holy Trinity School in Fort Lee and for the last 30 years was an employee of the Fort Lee Library. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 10th at 3-7pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”. The funeral mass will be at Holy Trinity Church in the Coytesville section of Fort Lee on Wednesday, January 11th at 10:30am with burial at Madonna Cemetery in Fort Lee.
