Obituary of Michael Murphy

Michael J. Murphy, 49, of Edgewater, NJ. , passed away on Jan. 1, 2015. He was a resident of Edgewater but also grew up in Leonia, NJ. Michael was a veteran of the Marine Corps and worked as a mason and was a member of NYC Laborers’ Union #79. Michael is survived by his beloved daughter Brigit Murphy, his mother Mrs. Susan Murphy-Gruson, his brother-in-law Matthew Feeley, his sisters Jennifer Feeley and Tara Murphy, his nephews Brian Feeley and Aidan Sheridan and his cousin ...George Reibe. The family will be receiving friends and family at Frank Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home on Tuesday Jan. 6 from 5:00 -9:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church, Edgewater N.J., on Wednesday Jan. 7, 10:00 a.m. Cremation will be private.
