Obituary of Mary Balsamo

Balsamo, Mary nee:  Coppoletta, age 93, of Palisades Park, on Sunday, September 5, 2021.  Beloved wife to the late Nicholas Balsamo.  Loving mother to Maria and Frank and her son-in-law, Bruce. Proud grandmother to Lawrence, Jennifer and granddaughter-in-law, Dania. Loving great-grandmother to Lily.  Cherished sister to the late Catherine Italiano and the late  Joseph Coppoletta.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.   

Mary was a long time resident of Palisades Park and Union City.  She graduated from Union Hill High School in Union City.  She was a life long parishioner of St. Michael’s Church in Palisades Park.  She worked for many years as a Secretary to the Vice President of College Sales for Prentice-Hall Publishing in Englewood.  Mary dedicated her life to her family and friends and was always a joy to be around.  She was always baking and cooking for everyone.  Her recipes will be cherished.  She was loved and adored and will be missed by everyone. 

The family will receive their friends on Sunday, September 12, from 3 to 7 PM at the Frank A.
