Obituary of Annunziata Ventre
Our much loved and cherished mother went peacefully home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ surrounded by her family and prayer on November 10.
Devoted wife of the late Francesco Ventre and loving mother to Anthony and Carmela. Proud and beloved grandmother to Christina. Annunziata was born in Italy and came to the United States with her husband. Annunziata was a caring and amazing wife, mother, and grandmother; she was a pillar of strength to her family. Annunziata was always keeping busy, and she enjoyed working; she first worked at her family store in Italy and continued working in the United States. Her joy was taking care of her family. Her love of cooking created memorable meals everyday and especially holiday dinners.
We will miss her beautiful smile and her unconditional love and devotion. She was a woman of remarkable strength and courage to the end. We will love and miss her until we meet again in Christ Jesus. Along with her children she is survived by her loving sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation from 9:30-11:30AM on Tuesday, November 16 at Frank Patti Funeral Home, Fort Lee. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:30PM, at St. Matthew Church, Ridgefield. Entombment to follow at Madonna Mausoleum, Fort Lee.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in Annunziata’s memory may be made to: Istituto Antoniano Maschile, Messina Italy. Frank Patti will provide donation envelopes. The family will match all donations in Annunziata’s memory.
May God Bless Annunziata and her family and friends in Christ Jesus, Amen.
