It is rare for me to write without thinking of Sal. She taught me to be intentional, bold and creative with my words. Most of my fond memories of school were in here classroom, creating a yearbook that I still have to this day. I am honored to have been able to call her my teacher and friend. I am sorry for your loss and know that Sal is always in my heart.

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of my beloved English teacher from 1983. Gone too soon.
She left was an exceptional and memorable teacher because she was so kind, compassionate personable, energetic, and she knew how to make literature interesting to 7th graders, which is no easy task!

Mrs. Pawlick was my teacher, mentor, and sincere friend to me and my family. Aside from being a wonderful instructor who introduced me to "To Kill a Mockingbird" amongst other classics of American literature, she was a confidant who helped me as an early adolescent get through eighth grade. I could go on for paragraphs about how much she meant to me and my sister. Leonia will miss a shining star of the community!

I was a student of Mrs. Pawlick in 2014-2015. It seems long ago to me now, but I remember every second of my 8th grade English class with her. I don't exaggerate by saying she was one of the most influential teachers/mentors I have ever had. She had a profound effect on both my academic and personal life, and her teaching still guides me throughout my life to this day. She will be missed.

I never got to know Susan, however, I did see her and Bob at fire department functions like Chief’s Night, parties, and funerals. I noticed how she was able to bring a positive energy to whatever group that she was a part of. I can only imagine what a wonderful and caring school teacher she was. During this Thanksgiving season, we can all give thanks for Susan being a part of our lives.
Blessings to all the family,
Jack Gardner

To the teacher that made me realize what reality was. You taught me not only so much about life, but how important it is to cherish it. You were the reason why i graduated highschool. i was definitely not the best student in english class, but you made sure i got through it no matter what. Even if you weren’t my teacher that year. I appreciate you more than anything and i hope your resting in paradise. i love you to the moon & back. look over me ❤️

I was an awkward new girl, starting the 8th grade, and Mrs Pawlick was so very warm and kind. She was one of those people who brightened every room, and she was one of those teachers who sparked a love of learning in her students. My sincerest condolences to her family. She will be so very missed.

Susan was the quintessential teacher. She taught both of my children and they learned so much from her. Her way of working with middle school students ( especially “at risk” boys) was one that very very few teachers possess. She will now be in heaven with one of her greatest fans: my son Jason, who adored her ❤️ Rest In Peace, Susan.
