I just learned about Pat's passing. I met Pat over 35 years ago, when I was hired by the National Maritime Union as a 20-something and Pat was Senior VIce President of the Union. Pat was incredibly helpful in my career (and personal) development, and was extraordinarily generous in sharing his experiences and providing guidance. He was very intelligent and had a never-ending sense of humor to match a great smile.Although I hadn't seen Pat in over a decade, I have always fondly remembered our shared time together.May Pat rest in peace.
