Obituary of Steven M. Russo

Russo, Steven, M., age 63, of Leonia, formerly of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn passed away peacefully on Sunday July 17, 2022. Steven worked as a Controller in the financial services industry and earned his MBA from St. John's University. Among the many companies he worked for were Pan Oceanic Eyewear, Seagram & Son, and Fundtech. Always willing to help, Steven volunteered at the Flat Rock Brook Nature Center of Englewood. He was a supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, an avid animal lover and Yankee, Jets and Giant fan. Steven spent his summers enjoying the views, the beach, and friends at Avon by the Sea. Beloved husband of 22 years to Christine (nee: Nobile). Devoted son of the late Richard and Vivian Russo. Dear Brother of Robert Russo, Mark Russo and his wife Roe. Adored uncle of Jennifer Russo, Justin and Lauren Nobile. Cherished brother-in-law of Salvatore and Diane Nobile, Gerry Nobile, and Michael Nobile. Loved by his cherished feline friends Michee, Ms. Kitty and Felix. He will always be one of the "Boyz From Brooklyn" and will be missed by all. The family will receive their friends on Wednesday 2:00 - 8:00 PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library". The funeral will leave Thursday at 10:30 AM for the celebration of his funeral mass in St. John R. C. Church at 11:00 AM.
