Obituary of Emily Collazuol
Collazuol, Emily, I., (nee:Loschi), age 99, a 73 year resident of Fort Lee, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday July 19, 2022. Born in Italy she came to the United States in 1929 and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. She owned Emily's Millinery which was on Main Street in Fort Lee during the 1960's and took pride in dressing the women of Fort Lee in high fashion. She was involved in many community activities of Fort Lee, while raising her children. Emily was well known in later years as the hostess of the Red Oak Diner.
Devoted wife of 67 years to the late John Collazuol, former building inspector of Fort Lee. Devoted mother of Jim Collazuol and his wife Mary Lou, Steve Collazuol and his wife Ann, and the late Maureen Collazuol. Cherished grandma of Kristin, Tim, Conor, John, and the late Kevin. Adored great grandmother of Kara, Teagan, Kevin, Drew, Charlotte, and Rocco.
The family will receive their friends on Friday 8:30 – 10:00 am at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library". The funeral will leave at 10:00 AM for the celebration of her funeral mass in Holy Trinity R C Church at Friday 10:30 am.
