I was a dispatcher as well as Captain of Pal. Pk. EMS. I always enjoyed talking football with him. We debated over EMS and what they should be doing. I fully respected Mark. You never had to be concerned with what Mark thinking. Men like him are few and thankfully most were these men make up the staff of officers at PPPD. I know he’s in a special place. All good cops wind up there. God bless you Chief and your family.

At every family gathering at Curt and Jennie’s house, no one needed to announce Mark’s arrival. His loud chuckle was great to hear. He was just a big teddy bear, but I am sure more than one troublemaker wet themselves when he walked up to their window! I am so sorry for his family’s loss of such a major presence in their lives. He will be missed greatly.
