I don’t know what to say other than Mamita querida…I will miss your presence and voice every second for the rest of my life. December 12, 2022 was such a hard day to see you go. You were the rock of our Famiglia and had the sweetest of hearts, a smile engraved on your delicate face. Now you can get the peaceful rest you deserve. Heaven has truly gained an angel. NOTE: Just got a call from Heaven, it was Albert Einstein, having just enjoyed dinner prepared by you. He asked me how you managed to prepare all that delicious food on Sundays and Holidays, for over a dozen hungry people waiting at the table, with every single plate served to perfection. Einstein told me that he asked you, but you would not divulge any information. You simply told him that the equations are only found in Dina Rosa Perrone’s Heart. Have fun in Heaven, I can’t wait to see you para tomarnos tre o quattro MATEs! Un abrazo y muchos besitos Mamita….aka La Nonna Dina

My Dearest Mami I don't know what to say right now except that It still feels like a bad dream that you are no longer with us. All I can say for now is that you were and always will be remembered as the best mother in the world. Your love, care and devotion to those you loved was always genuine. You were one of a kind. You were always smiling, happy and willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Even people that did not know you personally said to me what an angelic face your mother has. You have been through so much in life and have always persevered with a smile. You have always nurtured us with love and affection without limits. I am missing these hugs desperately. We counted on you for all the protection a mother gives her children without hesitation. If God is for us, who can be against us, Romans 8:31. You are no longer suffering. "Mama" como te decíamos con cariño, hiciste tantas cosas buenas en esta vida que no alcanzaría enumerarlas por este medio, tuviste la ternura, el amor, la compasión, el ser dadibosa y maternal con todos tus hijos, tus nietos y hasta con tus nueras y tus nietas postizas. Ahora estás en paz, tranquila, sin preocupaciones, y con la convicción de que vamos a estar bien. Gracias por el amor incondicional para nosotros. Fuiste, eres y serás el angelito que siempre guíe los pasos de Vinny y Danny al igual que los míos. Te quiero mucho y que bueno que te lo dije siempre. Descansa en paz "Mamá". "Mama" as we affectionately called you, you did so many good things in this life that I would not be able to list them here, you had tenderness, love, compassion, being generous and maternal with all your children, your grandchildren and even with your daughters-in-law and your granddaughters like me. Now you are at peace, calm, without worries, and with the conviction that we are going to be fine. Thank you for the unconditional love for us. You were, are and will be the little angel who will always guide Vinny and Danny's steps as well as mine. I love you very much and it's good that I always told you so. Rest in peace "Mamá".

Grand Mama Dina, Words are simply not enough to convey how much you are loved and will be missed. A beacon of light, a person with a true heart and soul, made of the most precious things in life. God gave the world a gift when you were born. You will always be remembered as an Angel who earned her wings long ago, in life and in passing. Heaven is a more majestic place with you there and there will be comfort in knowing your light will shine over all. Thank you for everything, your sacrifices, your warmth, your kindness and love.
