Obituary of Walter T. Dawson

Dawson, Walter, age 85, of Englewood Cliffs, passed away on Saturday January 7, 2023.  He was born in Englewood, NJ to the Late Walter Alexander and Helen (nee: Kelly) Dawson.  Beloved husband to Kathyrn (nee: Kloeber)  Loving father to Walter Dawson Jr., and Tracy Cibischino.  Cherished grandfather to Luigi Jr., fiancée, Erica, Montana, Walter III, and Sage. Brother of Joseph Dawson.  He was a member of one of the pioneer families of Coytesville, now a section of Fort Lee. An iconic business man- who owned and operated Kelly’s Automotive Service, a landmark on Lemoine Ave. for over 65 years.        

The family will receive their friends on Tuesday from 4-8pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”.  The funeral will leave Wednesday at  9:30 AM  for the celebration of his funeral mass in Holy Trinity  R C Church at 10am.   Interment to follow in Westwood Cemetery.
