Obituary of Theodore E. Grieco Jr.

Grieco, Theodore, E. age 74, of Normandy Beach formerly of Fort Lee, passed peacefully on Friday February 3, 2023.   Loving husband to Georgianna nee; Villano.   Devoted father to Theodore Jacob and Joshua James.

Teddy was a lifelong resident of Fort Lee and Normandy Beach, NJ.  He was a graduate of Fort Lee High School and received his bachelor’s degree at Monmouth University.  His entire professional career was centered around the wood working industry. Starting at Rudolph Bass Machinery and eventually building his own company, Alltech Machinery, and later Allwood Machinery.

He was an avid hunter who loved spending time outdoors and would take yearly trips to Maine and upstate New York where he made a second home. But Teddy truly loved Normandy Beach and the home he built for his family there became a wonderful gathering place for all extended family, friends, and friends of friends. Everyone was always welcome, and nothing gave him more pleasure than to see others having fun and sharing his dream. No one will ever hear a rock n roll song without thinking of the Normandy back yard, garage, jukebox, and Teddy.

The family will receive their friends on Tuesday 4-8PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”.  The funeral will leave Wednesday at  10:30 AM  for the celebration of his funeral mass in Madonna Church at 11:00 AM.   For condolences, directions, or information www.frankpatti.com or call (201) 944-0100.
