hi aunt lettie i just wrote you a nice note and as usual guess what ??? i lost it so i will take the time to write you again because i care your death came as sort of a shock but i followed you on line and since we were last able to talk you were changing..... pretty sure you are at rest now. lol as i can honestly say we knew each other since the day i was born.... i was your first niece and boy did you ever love and spoil me. we shared many things all the times you would take me to your apartment in pal park sometimes just visiting then when joanne was born you let me babysit her. trips to seaside heights.. we sometimes did not see eye to eye and you would darn it stop my treasured birthday cards where you always wrote a little story of our lives together i love them all but cool how you wrote the first time you ever saw me on the day i was born its a great story... i saved and read them from time to time. our many trips to nyc radio city for easter show or more then out to lunch the many clothes you made for me i remember the checkered skirt and zipperless it was pretty..... my first cookbook n measuring spoons which i still have i treasure things like that and so glad they are still with me even if book is taped together it is a real prize.. so much more i would like to say but m still in shock of your passing thank goodness even tho we could not talk to each other anymore at least out last conversation was as usual a time we shared talking memories and laughing it was precious times for BOTH of us and now a memory....please a hug and love to uncle Manfred and to all our heavenly family and other loved ones aunt lettie thanks for being a good aunt lovingly your niece carolyn oh i have to add this remember every time we would taLK and i would ask you how you doing aunt lettie your response was a very loud positive word and it was always GLORIOUS and then we would both laugh it was kind f like our special greeting of sorts ,, now i feel comfortable saying how u doing aunt lettie and i will get a heavenly reply im GLORIOUS!!!!!! now i can smile and know you made the trip and are just GLORIOUS
