Obituary of Elizabeth S. Cirillo

Cirillo, Elizabeth S., “Lisa”  (nee: Iavazzi), age 93, a 60 year resident of Leonia, passed peacefully on Thursday February 16, 2023.   Born in Capodrise, Italy she was one of 8 children of Raffaele and Brigida Iavazzi.  She immigrated to the United States in 1952.  She was an active parishioner of St. John’s RC Church of Leonia serving as a Eucharistic Minister for many years.   She loved to garden and cook for family and friends.

Beloved wife of the late Anthony Cirillo.   Devoted mother of Annette Cirillo, Bridget Burke and her husband Brian, Frank Cirillo and his wife Lisa, and the late Diane Boles and her late  husband Tom.   Cherished grandma of T.J., Bob and Danielle, Lisa and Jeff, Shelly, Tony and Stephanie, Michael and Joe, Christina and Noah, Gina and Lance, and Anthony and Keila.   Adored great grandmother of 16.  Dear sister-in-law of Marie Cirillo and Rose Golino.  She will be missed  by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members and dear friends. 

The family will receive their friends on Wednesday February 22^nd 3-7 pm  at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”.  The funeral will leave Thursday at  10:00 AM  for the celebration of her funeral mass in St. John  R. C.
