Obituary of Aurica Foca-Rodi

Aurica Foca-Rodi, age 78, of Fort Lee, NJ, passed away on April 7th, 2023. She was born on August 21st, 1944 in Romania to Nedelcu and Octavia Bivol. She is survived by her two children Andrei and Nicole, their spouses Amparo and Jake and beloved grandchildren Jordi, Siena, Emma and Sophia, as well as her brother Aurel. She worked in the Immunogenetics Laboratory at Columbia NY Presbyterian Hospital in for over 40 years. Early in her life, she was an opera singer who continued to have a deep passion for classical music and the fine arts. She loved her family and friends and adored her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all and we will carry her in our hearts forever. The family will receive friends and loved ones at Frank Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home in Fort Lee, NJ on Wednesday, April 12th between 4pm-7pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 13th at Madonna Church in Fort Lee, NJ at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Hackensack Cemetery.
