Obituary of Patricia C. Fromholtz

Patricia C. Fromholtz, beloved wife and mother of 3 sons passed quietly in her sleep at home on October 18, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Patricia earned a Master of Arts in Educational Administration and Supervision from St. Peter’s University. She was the first person in her family to complete higher education and graduate studies.

Patricia and her husband were longtime residents of Leonia, NJ where she was an active participant in the community and a strong advocate for children’s education. She leaves behind the legacy of a career educator and is remembered for her successes as a Principal, a Dean of Students, and a member of the Leonia Board of Education. Her time administering Barnstable Academy, St. Joseph’s of the Palisades High School, and the Board of Education was filled with joyous trials and graduates who benefitted from her skill and wisdom.

She and her husband retired to Bayville, NJ where she spent her time watching nature and quilting.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 40 years, John and her 3 sons John Gregory, Alex, and Paul.  She is survived by her brother Peter and his wife Maureen, her brother Thomas and his wife Geralyn, and her 5 nieces and nephews, Siobhan, Peter, Daniel, Danielle, and Thomas Jr.  Those wishing to pay their respects may do so Sunday, October 22, 4PM - 8PM at Frank Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home (327 Main St, Fort Lee, NJ 07024).  This will be followed by a funeral mass on Monday October 23 at St. Johns in Leonia.
