Obituary of Mae Reeves

Reeves, Mary Catherine “Mae” (nee: Gallone) age 86, of Point Pleasant, NJ, formerly of Leonia, passed peacefully at home on Monday December 4, 2023.   Born in Teaneck, NJ,  Mae grew up in Leonia, and was a resident for over 60 years.   Before becoming a full-time mom, Mae worked at the Equitable Life Insurance Company in NYC. 

Beloved wife of 61 years of Robert Reeves, Sr.   Devoted mother of Robert Reeves, Jr. and Barbara Cammarano, her husband Robert, and their son Jesse.    Dear sister of Barbara Gallone Taylor and her husband Jesse “Chip”, Stanley Gallone, Jr.  and his wife Maureen, and the late Edward Gallone, Sr. and his wife Barbara.  Adored aunt of many nieces and nephews.   Mae will be deeply missed by her family and friends and remembered for her kindness and sense of humor.

The family will receive their friends and family on Tuesday December 12, 2023 from 4-8 pm at the Frank Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home,  327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”.   A prayer service will be held on Tuesday at 7:30 pm in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Leonia Volunteer Fire Department.   For further information call (201) 944-0100 or www.frankpatti.com
