To the Scamporino Family, It was a privilege to have known Frank Scamporino Sr and his wonderful wife and family. His friendship with my father Dave Cerchio Sr. left many wonderful memories. Probably the best story I heard from my Dad was when they went to a diner in Fort Lee, my Dad picked him up and they got to the diner and had lunch, smoked some cigs and drank alot of coffee. The bill came and my Dad said Hey Frank " it's on you today". "I just paid they guys and I'm tapped". Frank reached in his back pocket and didn't find his wallet .He said Dave, "your not going to believe this but I left my wallet at home". So they just looked at each other and started laughing. Of course Frank being Frank addressed the situation perfectly with the waitress and manager and they were aloud to pay the next day. Never a dull moment when they got together. Franks words of wisdom and his life experiences have left a positive and indelible mark on my life. It was a blessing to have known Frank Scamporino Sr.

I am so sorry Mr. Scamporino has passed. My best memory is when Sherri and I put on dresses to go up town to the park, OMG! He read us the riot act. He told us not to dress in a way that disrespected who we are. So great. My own home was tuff, but going to the Scamporino home and sitting at the wooden kitchen table, eating grilled cheese and getting Mr. Scamporino's adivice is priceless. Thank you Scamporinos for sharing your dad with me. Felicia
