Obituary of Eileen Margaret Heil

Eileen Heil (nee Kirk) of Oakland, passed away on January 12, 2024, after a long battle with cancer.

She was a long-time resident of Oakland.  Born in Jersey City to James and Edith (nee Joest) on March 5th, 1951.  She loved growing up on her father’s boats, the beach and had a passion for horses and all other animals.

Eileen was a loving spouse to her late husband Lester.  She was a caring mother and devoted grandmother.

Eileen was predeceased by her beloved husband Lester, her loving parents James and Edith, and her brother James.

Eileen is survived by her daughter Kimberlee Seehafer, her husband Michael and her cherished granddaughter Nikkee.

She is also survived by her “2nd” daughter Annmarie Kovacs, her husband Stephen, and their children Tad, Austin, and Jordan.  Her cousin Kathy Soehngen, her husband Larry and daughter Jennifer.  Her cousin Maryann Chace, her husband Ron, son Bob and his wife Erica and their children Derek and Addison.

Eileen was the best “Hockey Grandma” to Nikkee, always supporting her and even attending games up until December.  She was fighting stage 4 ovarian cancer with the hopes of one day watching Nikkee play in the Olympics.  She told everyone who she met that was all she wanted, to watch Nikkee get a gold medal.

A viewing will be held at Frank Patti Funeral Home on Sunday January 21, 2024, from 2-6pm.  Eileen will be laid to rest with her beloved husband on Tuesday January 23, 2024, at 1pm at the BG William C Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown.
