Obituary of Louise Caruso

Louise Caruso (nee Puntillo) was born and raised in the Bronx, married Anthony "Tony" Caruso and moved to Fort Lee, NJ in the 1940's. She is survived by her son Frank "My Frankie" and wife Alice Caruso, granddaughter Christine Caruso, the most dedicated and kind family friend Marie Ciccone, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, extended family, friends and caretakers. She began cooking for her family at the young age of 13 and continued to do so every day, making it life long tradition of bringing family and friends together at her home for decades. Louise enjoyed listening and dancing to the big bands. She loved to go to the casino to play the slot machines and was always up for a game of cards...she almost always won and attributed her sharp mind to playing cards most evenings. The family will receive their friends on Wednesday 4-8 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library". A Mass will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at Madonna Church on the Hill 2070 Hoefley's Lane, Fort Lee, NJ 07024. The Burial will be private.
