Obituary of Petronios Frangides

Frangides, Petronios, age 90, of Fort Lee, on Tuesday January 13, 2015. born February 12, 1924, in Athens Greece, he immigrated to the United States in 1954. He was the co-owner of Olympic Motors of Edgewater, NJ and the First President of the Hellenic Civic Club of Fort Lee. He was instrumental in bringing Greek Language classes to Fort Lee High School. Survived by his wife of 60 years Kaliope (nee: Deligianis, his daughter Cleo and her husband Scott Bowen, daughter Anastasia and her husband Craig Kamp, his son James Frangides and his wife Joanne and his son Michael and Persephone Apostolou. Also survived by grandchildren Alexis, Paul, Angela, Eric, Nicholas and Katerina. The family will receive their friends on Thursday 3 - 7 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”. Religious services will be held Friday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
