Obituary of Petra Then

Then, Petra, age 97, of Bergenfield, formely of San Francisco de Macorix, Dominican Republic, passed away on Monday June 27, 2016. Petra was religiously devout with particular devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to our holy mother the Blessed Virgin Mary. She was a deeply devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her survivors include daughters Orquidea AltaGracia Cárdenas and Ramona Elena Mártinez, grandchildren Suhay Vásquez, Kenneth Rosado, Jennice Cárdenas and Deisnel Cárdenas Jr., granddaughter-in-law Aida Esther Tineo-Cárdenas, great-grand children Lucas Miguel Feliciano, Gabriela Dahliah Cárdenas, Amélie Petra Cárdenas and Aidan Deisnel Cárdenas, and son-in-law Deisnel Santiago Cárdenas. The family will receive their friends on Thursday 4:00 - 8:00 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library". The funeral will leave Friday at 10:30 AM for the celebration of her funeral mass in Madonna R.C. Church On The Hill at 11:00 AM.
