Obituary of Albert Nersesian

Nersesian, Albert, 86, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Union City, he lived in Fort Lee after having resided in Toms River and Englewood. Prior to his retirement, he was a Photo-Engraver at Sterling-Regal in New York. He also owned and operated restaurants in Ramsey and Wayne for several years. Golf was his passion and he had the distinction of hitting a hole-in-one three times during his golfing career. He also enjoyed fishing and spent many summers fishing with his sons in Manasquan. He is survived by his beloved wife, Florence Amy (nee: Boyajian), his devoted sons, Richard Nersesian and his Wife, Rose, and Robert Nersesian and his wife, Suely, his grandsons, Michael Nersesian and his wife, Alexis, and Mark Nersesian, and his great granddaughter, Nina Sofia. He is also survived by his sister, Lillian Bakal, and his brother, Carnig and his wife, Leona, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive their friends at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "Opposite the Fort Lee Library" on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:30 AM in St. Leon's Armenian Church, 12-61 Saddle River Rd, Fair Lawn. The Committal Service will follow at Grove Church Cemetery, North Bergen. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution's may be made to St. Leon's Armenian Church.
