Brother Eugene was such a faithful follower of Christ, I will always remember the time he and Peck spent with us at Cornerstone, their hospitality, care, and friendship. May the Lord comfort his family during this time of loss. We rejoice knowing that he is in his eternal home where there is only joy and no pain in the company of our God.

Uncle Eugene was a genuine man that was deeply rooted in his faith. He would always listen to others and had a natural ability to connect with others. Although the time we spent with him was brief, he has made a profound impact on us and helped us to develop our faith in God. He will always have a place in our hearts, and although we miss him, we take comfort in knowing that he is with God.
With Love,
Bethany and Debbie

Chan Yew, thank you for your hospitality and warmth when Raymond, Joel and I stayed in New York. You welcomed and accepted us and introduced us to the church which you attended. Our stay in New York was a pleasant one because you extended your hand of fellowship to us. You always gave words of encouragement to my family. I have fond memories of the times our families met during weekends and stayed overnight at your place. Will miss you! Till we meet again!

Dear Peck & Family,
We are all with you in prayer and spirit. We can envision the difficulty you are undergoing. May God strengthen you all in his love.
Eugene has a special place in our hearts. We remember him as a faithful servant of God, a giving father, and above all, a really good man, someone who was a role model for all of us. His touched many lives, especially in Cornerstone Fellowship, where he and you were our first Counselors. We remember his humor, and his meticulous attention to details. He was always prepared and thought more about others than about himself.
At the same time, we rejoice that Eugene is with the Lord. He has finished the race.
2 Tim 4:6
For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
We shall miss him.
With Love and Prayers,
Manny, Jane, Bethany, Debbie, Grandma

Dear Peck, Ying, Yun, Min, Kaelin and Justin,
Needless to say that time stopped for all of us when we received the news of Eugene's sudden departure. We were all honored by his love and friendship. He always had time for you no matter how busy he was. He and I served on the Steering Committee and through his soft and unassuming way, he staid the course on many issues that came up.
As we gather to share our memories of him, I'd like to contribute one.
Our wives suggested that we sing an anthem on Mother's Day during Sunday Service so we rehearsed and sang "Find Us Faithful". Eugene stood next to me during this presentation. Eugene sang the song with enthusiasm and at a few points, he tried to outpace the set tempo.
As I reviewed the words of the song, Eugene ran the race, stayed fit and was always equipped with God's words.
Eugene, we know that the loss of seeing you is a deep one for all of us. May the memories of your goodness inspire us daily. We will miss you deeply.
May God sustain and give peace to Peck, Ying, Yun, Min, Kaelin and Justin.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. Psalm 28:7
Find Us Faithful
We're pilgrims on the journey
Of the narrow road
And those who've gone before us line the way
Cheering on the faithful, encouraging the weary
Their lives a stirring testament to God's sustaining grace
Surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses
Let us run the race not only for the prize
But as those who've gone before us
Let us leave to those behind us
The heritage of faithfulness passed on through godly lives
CHORUS:
Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful
May the fire of our devotion light their way
May the footprints that we leave
Lead them to believe
And the lives we live inspire them to obey
Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful
After all our hopes and dreams have come and gone
And our children sift through all we've left behind
May the clues that they discover and the memories they uncover
Become the light that leads them to the road we each must find

It took a week for the news to sink in before I could pen my thoughts. The bombshell of your passing came hurtling down just 2 days into our hols in Scandinavia. The first thought of you was that gentle expression as you slid open the room door and looked me in the eyes saying "Wait upon the Lord..." during one of my toughest moments in life, will forever be etched in my mind. Thank you for those wise words that will serve as a reminder in the days to come. I see so much of that kindness and gentleness in your firstborn. Will surely miss you. Till me meet again on celestial shores.

Known to me as Tiu Kong, I will always cherish all the memories I had with him and all the chances that I had to talk and discuss current issues and politics with him. :,) A wise, patient and gentle man, I had the privilege of serving alongside him last year, when we went to the village in Ton San, Chiang Mai. Although not present during the preparation meetings, he was enthusiastic and helpful, providing much needed advise and prayer for the team. He always had such warm and encouraging things to say to me as I struggled to lead the team with members who were older than me. I remember him leading us in devotion one morning in Chiang Mai, where he provided the team with discussion questions from a Psalms study guide book. We went through Psalms 1, and the study provided questions that guided the group to understand the Psalmist's words and posed questions for the team to reflect about their personal prayer walk with God. I was deeply moved by Tiu Kong's sharing that day, and I mentioned in passing how the material he shared during the devotion would be perfect for my youth group to encourage them to walk prayerfully with The Lord.
A few weeks after the mission trip, on a random Sunday afternoon, he handed me his study guide on Psalms, with a simple "here's the book I used during the mission trip, thought you might find it useful". I really appreciated his small gesture of kindness and will always remember him for his thoughtfulness. Tiu Kong was also always kind with his words, and my last conversation with him included him telling me how I "struck an impression" when I led worship. The way he talked about God and how he weaved in the biblical truths during our conversations indeed revealed his humble spirit and God-fearing heart. I was looking forward to him attending my wedding and enjoying many more family reunions together. Although I will miss him dearly, but I am thankful that he finally can find rest with our Father in Heaven. As a man truly after God's own heart, I am sure that He is at home, rejoicing with our Heavenly Father right now.
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(Romans 8:38-39)
