Obituary of Julia Nannas

Nannas, Julia, nee: Moore, age 96, of Fort Lee, on Saturday November 4, 2017.  She was born in Piper, Alabama to the late Thomas and Olympia Moore.  Beloved wife of the late John Nannas. Devoted mother of Rhea Stassou and her husband Peter, Nick Nannas and his wife Pam. Cherished grandmother of Andrea Stassou and her husband Elias Dokas, Julene Stassou and her husband Michael Ehrlich, Dr. Stephani Katechis and her husband Dr. Dennis, John Nannas and his wife Dr. Natalie, Michelle Gomes and her husband Steven.  Proud Great Grandmother to Peter, Katerina, Ella, Jake, Sophia, Julia and Allison.  Julia is also survived by a host of cherished relatives who adored her.  The family will receive their friends on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”.  The funeral will leave on Thursday at 10:45 AM for the religious service in St. John's The Theologian Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 11:30 AM.   In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to St. Philothea Philoptochos Society of the Cathedral of  St. John the Theologian in Tenafly, NJ.  For condolences, directions, or information call (201) 944-0100 or www.frankpatti.com
