Obituary of Bette E. Trinka
Bette E. Trinka (nee Fullmer), 66, of Wayne, NJ passed away on May 1, 2018. Raised in Hasbrouck Heights NJ, she was a resident of Leonia NJ and later Wayne NJ for 38 years. Bette is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Ruth (nee Williams) Fullmer, and her brothers, David Fullmer of San Francisco CA and Richard Fullmer of Pahrump NV. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, William R. Trinka, Jr. of Wayne NJ, her daughters, Ruth M. Trinka of Hazlet NJ, and Renee Galatioto (Michael) of Pompton Lakes NJ, her brothers and sisters, Michele Fullmer of Midland Park NJ, Linda Johnson of San Antonio TX, Marjorie Boos of St. Petersburg FL, George Fullmer of Charleston SC, and Edward Fullmer of Shelton CT.
At retirement, Bette worked as a food service manager at John F. Kennedy Elementary School, Wayne NJ where she was known to the students as Miss Bette. She began her career as a payroll clerk for Maplewood Equipment Company, Maplewood NJ. Bette was an avid reader who enjoyed bingo and greatly enjoyed needlepointing and crocheting and was well known for her beautiful baby blankets.
The family will receive their friends on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM with a memorial service at 11:00am at Frank Patti and Kenneth Mikitarian Funeral Home, 327 Main Street, Fort Lee NJ. Burial immediately following at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus NJ.
