Obituary of Joseph Calabro

Calabro, Joseph, age 92, of Fort Lee, passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday January 19, 2019.  Born in Bagnara Calabra, Italy he came to the United States in 1959.   He was the Owner of CTC Landscaping of Fort Lee, NJ for over 50 years.   He made the world a more beautiful place with his love of landscaping.  Known as a perfectionist with a creative touch, he transformed many of the homes into landscapes of art in Bergen County.  His love for gardening was only surpassed by his love for his family.  Beloved husband of the late Francesca (nee:Tripodi).   Devoted father of Domenica Tripodi and her husband Joseph, Carmela Dell’Aquila and her husband Patrick,  and his son Carmelo Calabro and his wife Suzanne.  Cherished Nonno of Frank, Joey, Melissa, Joseph, Anthony, Anna, and Joseph.   Adored “Big Nonno”  of Matthew, Alexandra, Nathan, and Theo.  Dear brother of Pasquale Calabro and his wife Maddalena,  Annunziata, Antonio, Matteo, Salvatore, and late siblings Vincenzo, Grazia and Carmelo.   He was admired and respected by his loving nieces and nephews.  The family will receive their friends on Monday 4-8 pm   at the Frank A.
