I just became aware of Annette's passing. Annette was a dear friend, instrumental to guiding me through my MPH at NYMC and my career in health care. I have often thought of the dedication she instilled in me personally and to so many of her students, she is truly missed.

Annette was genuine. She helped everyone without any thought - it was just normal to do so. No thought to it at all. She never complained and always had a smile for you. I was Annette's administrative assistant at NY Medical College from 2010 until she retired. She was a loving, compassionate person who was always there when I needed her. It was a pleasure to work with her - she was the life of our department and the entire school. She knew her flowers and how to care for them & made sure we had them on our desks, always a special birthday cake and her signature Christmas cookies. I am heartbroken and will miss her. She loved her family and both of us shared each others stories and pictures. Annette was more like a friend than my boss and for this I am truly grateful. My sincere condolences, Cindy Jakubowski
