“Your life was a blessing,
Your memory a treasure…
You are loved beyond words
And missed beyond measure.”

Pravinchandra Balubhai Anajwala, 78, peacefully passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, NY. In the time since Pravinbhai’s passing, the words we’ve heard others using to describe him have been intelligent, social, lively, and most often, loving. Without a doubt, Pravinbhai touched the lives of so many. Especially to his family and friends, he has left an impression that will be felt forever.
Pravinbhai was a very kind, social, and hospitable man. In his lifetime, he became a husband, father, grandfather, and in the last two years, a great grandfather. After marrying his lovely wife, Bhanuben, he raised two strong willed sons, Paresh “Perry” and Pankaj. From his caring daughters-in-law, Rita and Bina, he had four grandchildren: Kruti, Kristie, Reena, and Amit. He enjoyed the weddings of two of his granddaughters, Kruti to Jay Shah and Kristie to Pranav Amin. In his final years, he was also thrilled to meet his twin great granddaughters, Aashi and Diya.
Getting family and friends together for a delicious meal was very important to Pravinbhai. He was always capturing these special moments on his iPhone and sharing them on WhatsApp for his world to see. It was in those gatherings that we saw him at his happiest with his warm personality and welcoming presence. And even now, we know he is smiling as we gather together to commemorate his life and accomplishments.
