Obituary of Theresa Classi

Theresa Classi, 88 years old, of Paramus, New Jersey passed away, surrounded by her adoring family, on Tuesday, March 12, 2019.

Theresa was born in Brooklyn, New York to James and Rose Minore. She and her husband lived most of their life together raising their family in Queens, New York and subsequently moved to Paramus, New Jersey to be nearer to their children and grandchildren.

Theresa leaves behind her devoted husband of 67 years, Joseph, and her beloved children Patricia Ann, RoseMarie with her husband Todd , and Anthony and wife Jeni. She was proud to be Grandma to Christopher, Michael and Dylan Classi. Theresa is survived by her sister Rose Marie and brother John. She was preceded in death by her brothers Sonny and Jimmy.

Theresa’s greatest enjoyment in life was her family...cooking for them, sharing holidays and other special family occasions, vacations and just everyday life with them. She spent many a wonderful weekend as an avid sports fan cheering on baseball, football and soccer games. One of her greatest joys in life was to be able to be at every and all milestone events in the lives of her children and grandchildren.

The family welcomes other family and friends to join them on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday March 17 between 4 and 8 pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street.                                                                                                        

The funeral will leave Monday March 18 at 10:30 AM, for the celebration of her funeral mass being held at Church of the Annunciation in Paramus at 11:00 AM, followed by the entombment at Madonna Mausoleum in Fort Lee.
