I used to work with Gabe, last I spoke to him was on the Wednesday before. I left early because my grandmother was not doing so well. Did not go to the office on on Thursday or Friday because my grandmother was at her last moments and Joe didn’t understand so I was furious and resigned immediately from the position. My grandmother passed away on Friday April 5, 2019. I reached out to Gabe and left him a voicemail on his cellphone on April 8th apologizing to him for the situation and the decision I took. I will always look up to Gabe and have him in my heart with me. His last words to me were Dave I’m really sorry to hear your grandmother is not doing so well and I am keeping her in my prayers. Gabe was my friend, my mentor, and also teacher. He taught me a lot about accounting which I will never forget. I will always remember my time with him at the office he had stories for days, which I still remember till this day! I found out about Gabe passing when I went to the office later on in the end of April. Today I was just really thinking about him and googled to find his obituary and lucky saw I can send a message to family members so I felt so relieved. Lucille, I know we’ve never really met but we have spoken on the phone also I really appreciate the Christmas presents which you sent for me and I am very truly sorry for your loss. Christine, you may have not heard of me but I’m sorry for your loss. Your father always spoke very highly of you to me and all his clients. And I want you to know he loved you very much and was very proud of everything you have accomplished! Gabe was one of a kind, a person who always left a smile on someone’s face no matter what kind of day they were having and I will never forget the impact he had on my life.

I just heard the sad news! Gabe has been my accountant for over 30 years and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I hope that his wife and entire family are coping and take solace that he is not suffering and is with our Heavenly Father.
