Dr. Pelaez Yusti was such a sweet person and had a great spirit. I worked with her at La Casa De Don Pedro and she helped me in my role as the school nurse and I will forever be grateful. There is no greater service than helping others, so find comfort knowing that your loved one was a blessing to the family in Newark. I consider it an honor to have worked with her. There are some people that you meet along life's way that you begin to love because they have a passion and heart for the same things you do. That was Dr. Pelaez. She served as the Mental Health consultant for Newark Preschool Council for many years. She nurtured staff and parents to support the well being of their children. Every child had an opportunity to be loved, guided, and supported in their development. There was never a case to difficult, that she couldn't find a way to be helpful. Thank you for your love, compassion, strength and desire to serve our community. You will be missed my friend.
