Obituary of Parso Budhwani

We appreciate all the love and support to our family and most of all towards my father Parso Budhwani, he was a great father. I‘ve always respected him and built a life based on that. As a child who doesn’t look up to their father. He was warm. All knowing, always fun although a bit strict at times. I remember once coming home proud with a 96 score on my exam. With a Big smile, he looked at me calmly and asked where the other 4 points were? He always encouraged me to be the best I could be. And even in moments of failure never reprimanded me or made me feel ashamed. He was strong and supportive at all times. He was always in my life. Teaching me how to be a good man. With good morals and motivating me to be my best as he himself strived to be in his own life.

As many of you know he struggled with his health from a young age. He was always able to persereve and rebound. At 46 he had his second heart attack which was life threatening, he underwent by pass on February 14, 1986, Valentine’s Day, Heart day. It was the first time I saw my dad weak but thru prayer and strength later that year went back living a full life.

My parents always blessed the doctors who helped him. It was that experience that made me want to help others and become a physician. I always say I wanna save other daddy’s just like they did for me. I do mommy’s now by the way.

He continued to inspire me even in illness. He meant everything to me. He rebounded to be a strong father, grandfather and loving husband. Giving back in community organizations and don’t us forget partied like a rock star always dancing and singing. He always wanted to live life to its fullest and have fun.

Daddy had a great run! Nothing seemed to slow him down. He always wanted more from life. From humble beginnings, he married my mother in India and was able to migrate here to America with no money or job, selling ties to get started before he got his first Engineering job. It didn’t stop him, he studied in New York for his Masters, and he had two kids, raised us and was your friend, worked hard and played hard. He always said recently that the Best part of life was being young and Raising a family. He inspired me in so many ways, and I always wanted to make him proud of me. I am who I am because of you, Daddy. I owe my success in so many ways to my father.

I also owe everything to my family support, thru my father’s illness my sister Anju and my brother in law Maish took great care of him in their home. A daughter’s love is never ending. My in laws god bless them, are always by my side, even thru my mother in law’s illness my father in law Sham was always by me, spending time each day with my dad. And my wife Meeta with all she has been thru supporting me in taking care of my father. Without all of them it would not be possible. I am forever thankful to all of them and to all of you who have helped our family thru this.

I am blessed to spend his last hour with him and hold him at the end. I’ll miss him forever; he is with God and reunited with my mother.

I thank you all again. And pray for my father’s peace. God Bless All Of Us.
