Maraj, Balkaran, D., age 74, of Fort Lee, formerly of New York City, died suddenly on Sunday August 25, 2019. He was born in Trinidad and Tobago and immigrated to the United States in 1968. Before retiring in 2009 he served as a Vice President and Director for Bear Stearns of New York. Beloved husband of Indra (nee: Durbal). Devoted father of Verin Maraj and his wife Janice, Nisha Kobell, and Navin Maraj. Cherished grandfather of Mareena, Corrina, Mayson, Brandon and Alissa. Great grandfather of Olivia. Dear brother of Bethool Ramdass, Laxi Ramsoob, Darling Mohammed, Boysie and Vishnu Deonarine. Funeral services Friday 12:00 PM at the Frank A.
