Obituary of Michael V. Nesci

Michael V. Nesci passed away peacefully on October 22, 2019 at the age of 89.  Michael was born on August 20, 1930 to Joseph and Maria Nesci. A strong and proud U.S. Marine, Michael served his country from 1950-1956. His long standing career with NJ Transit spanned many deacades until his retirement in 1995. Mike was a life-long NY Yankee, NY Giant and NY Knick fan.  No matter the season, you could find him watching and routing for his favorite sports team.

Michael is predeceased by his mother, Maria, father Joseph, brother Nick and sister Josie.  He is survived by his wife Roseann, daughters Annamarie, MaryAnn, Michelle, and Maria, son Michael, sister Catherine, his grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other familiy and friends who loved him.

Visitation will be on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 4pm-8pm at Frank Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funearl Home, 327 Main Street, Fort Lee, NJ 07024. Prayer Service at 7:30 PM. Gathering Monday at 8:30am, October 28, 2019 Leaving at 9am for the burial at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 11am, 320 Province Line Road, Wrigthstown, NJ 08562.
