Tommie was a beautiful person whose light seemed to be always shining twice as brightly as everyone else. I am grateful for having known him and the things he showed me through his actions.

My heart goes out to Tommy's family-his mother and his brothers and those I do not know.
It is unbelievable that such a lovely, talented young person should no longer be with us.
I am sorry not to be with you in person, but my love is there with all of you.
Tommy was part of a large Washington Heights family, both his own and all the friends he has had here.
He will be much missed by all .

I only wish I could have known Tommie longer. He always had a kind word and that amazing smile when I would see him in the hallway. You couldn't help but feel good after just seeing him! My condolences to Tommie’s family. It was a pleasure to work and hang out with Tommie all these years. In our last Christmas dinner, he had invited me to tour his studio. All this is gone now. I’m speechless knowing he was taken from us so quickly. He will be forever missed.

From the moment I met Tommie, I was enamoured with the energy that radiated from him. I had the pleasure of working with Tommie for a comparatively short time, but every interaction was fun, uplifting and enjoyable. I always looked forward to our paths crossing. Knowing him for only a couple of minutes means knowing pure kindness. I am sure there was another side of the coin, but in him, it was impossible to tell.
