老爹, You embraced life’s many challenges with a hearty smile. Your motto was…. “No matter, have no fear as there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.” I have certainly inherited your resilience and optimism. You brought me into this world. Your worked very hard to provide for me. For that, I am eternally grateful to you. You are a loving father who taught me to love life, not take things for granted and keep family strong. I admired your generous nature as you did not hesitate to help anyone in need. You enjoyed simple things in life and were very much contented. 我和姑父只见过三次面，每次的时间都不长，但印象都特别深。在我没有见到他之前，姑父已经在我心里是 “合格的丈夫”和“伟大的父亲” 的化身。去年五月，我带着从中国来访的父母到纽约和姑姑和姑父见面。他那天非常高兴，身体虽然很弱了，但满面红光，笑起来是那么慈祥，无忧和陶醉。从他的女儿对待他的举止里，我看到了他曾对女儿们所给予的无私父爱。姑父走了，我希望他还能听到我心里没有公开说过的秘密 — 姑父，我一直把你作为做丈夫和父亲的榜样。
