Obituary of Athan M. Stamis

Born in depression-era Greece, Tony grew up during WWII, and like much of war torn Europe at that time, he wanted a better life. He first took to the seas and joined the Merchant Marines, and later, worked on private cruise lines as an Engineering officer. After a disaster at sea, he came to New York, and then to Bergen County with his wife, and founded his business in ship and industrial repairs: TONY STAMIS ENGINEERING, located in Ridgefield, NJ. Residing in Franklin Lakes, Tony had a passion for music, dance, fashion and food. He Loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed life to the fullest. He is survived by his wife Pollie, his loving children, cherished grandchildren, adored cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Frank Patti is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
