Obituary of Maria Ann Gregov

Maria Gregov a resident of Fort Lee, New Jersey, died unexpectedly on March 14, 2021 at the age of 62.

Maria Ann Balsamo Gregov was born May 20,1958 in New York, New York. She was raised in Hells Kitchen and graduated from the Art and Design High School in 1976

In 1981 Maria married her long time love Mario Gregov and has been happily married for 39 years.

Maria gave birth to her only child Vincent “Vinny” in 1989. Vinny was and will always be the most important part of her life.

Maria and her husband owned “Deli on the Cliffs” in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey for 10 years. Maria loved to cook and made sure everyone that ate at her deli knew that her food was made with love. Maria was a compassionate spirit whose passion was caring for others.

Maria was an avid dog lover. Her dogs Cody, Max and Daisy meant the world to her. She made sure that every second of the day that her dogs were well taken care of. 

Maria is survived by her husband Mario, her son Vinny, her mother Rose Balsamo, her Aunts Sally and Mary Lettieri and her many beautiful cousins.

Funeral arrangements for our beloved Maria Gregov...The family will receive their friends on Friday 3:00 - 7:00 PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library". The funeral will leave Saturday at 10:30 AM for the celebration of her funeral mass in The Main Madonna R.C.
