Obituary of Dhonisia Manoglu
Dhionysia Manoglu, loving mother of three daughters Anna Karas-Maroulis, Eleni Karas and Nicole Diakomihalis, grandmother of four grandsons and one granddaughter, great grandmother of two great grandsons, godmother and aunt.
Dhionysia was a native New Yorker with deep roots from Ithaca, Greece. Dhionysia worked for Kulite in Leonia, NJ for several years and retired almost two years ago.
Dhionysia adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with her family. Holidays and family gatherings were a favorite of hers. She embellished in the finest clothing, make-up and jewelry. Dhionysia enjoyed the theater, music, bouzoukia and dancing.
She was known for her infectious smile, kind gestures and a heart that was large enough to love everyone. Dhionysia loved life. She was a fighter, strong willed and determined until the final moments of her life. How lucky we were to have had her love and dedication. Her warmth will live on with us forever.
All are asked to Assemble Saturday in the Greek Orthodox Church of Ascension, 101 Anderson Avenue, Fairview, NJ at 11:30 AM.
