Obituary of Frank Ranu

Frank Ranu, 92, of Cliffside Park New Jersey. On Wednesday May 5, 2021.  Beloved husband of the late Louise Ranu (nee Proto). Dear Brother of the late Eleanor Cennerazzo and her late husband John Cennerazzo, and the late Gennaro Ranu, his wife the late Francesca Ranu. Caring and adored uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Frank proudly enlisted and served in the United States Army from 1948-1952.  Married his beloved wife Louise of 63 years in 1954.  Proud owner and operator of Alcorna coat factory Jersey City NJ.  Though he endured many early hardships, it was through these hardships in which Frank learned to love and enjoy a full and bountiful life.  He loved his home, enjoyed gardening his vegetables and fig trees, and fine cars.  Frank had the utmost affinity for his ancestral roots, with great reverence and admiration for his parents hometown of Cana, Calabria Italy.  He will be greatly missed.  The family will receive friends on Monday May 10, 4-8pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street Fort Lee NJ.
