He married Rose (nee Minichiello) on April 16th, 1955. They would spend 53 years together. He is predeceased by his wife Rose (2008), his daughter Maria (2004) his brother Vincenzo and his sister Maria Migliaccio.. He is the devoted father to Bernadette Salemme and her husband, Nick; Angie Ragosta and her husband, Pat; John Napoleone and his wife, Sandra. Cherished grandfather to Robert and Magda Salemme; John Salemme; Nicholas and Nicole Salemme; Joseph and Stephanie Pulice; Christopher and Lena Pulice; Tina and Damian Torres; Danielle and John Temir; James and Jenni Fenimore; Brett and Cary Fenimore; Catherine and Mark DiLeo; and Benedetto Napoleone and Shayney. Another great grand child is on the way.  He is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and last, but not least, many friends. Ben was an avid gardener. He gave so many of the vegetables to his family and friends. He always said that God would watch over him if he was generous to people. His whole life was his family; especially his children; grandchildren; and great grand children whom he loved very much.

He had a special devotion to St. Padre Pio and the Blessed mother and prayed the rosary daily.  He loved Holy Trinity Church where he ushered and assisted the Pastor with preparations for services on First Fridays. He will be sorely missed by his family and all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Holy Trinity Church 2367 Lemoine Avenue Fort Lee, Nj 07024 would be appreciated in his memory.
