My deepest sympathies to Carol and her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren on the loss of Joe. What a beautiful family. Joe was a great father, loving husband, wonder grandfather, helpful sibling, terrific cousin...and The Patriach of the Maurer and Trapp families. My Mother, aka Aunt Frances, was Joe's Godmother.....an honor she cherised. As her sister Tillie & Fricky's first born --- my Mother always said Joe was very special. He started the family generation of 39 first cousins (Maurers, Trapps, Snyders & Ehmans) of which Joe was #1. (I am # 36.). Joe was also the first President of the ATMA / Agnes Trapp Memorial Association.
Kerri-lynn, Maureen, Joe & Keith (and their children too) have all been loving, caring children that have helped Joe & Carol with so much love. I send hugs to Carol and the entire Maurer family. Thank you Joe for being such a wonderful cousin. xxxxx
